Of Utah's 29 counties, Duchesne County had the most land for sale. The most expensive piece of land listed for sale in Utah on Lands of America recently was $39 million, though the median price for land and rural property for sale in Utah came in at $955,943. The average price of farms, ranches and other land for sale in Utah was $2 million. There was 247 acres of sold land in Utah recorded in August 2018 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects an increase in sales activity over data from July 2018. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $1.2 million. Duchesne County recorded the most land sales recently in the state. Over a thousand fishable lakes and countless rivers and streams await anglers casting for trophy trout, pike, bass and more in Utah. The Ogden, Weber and Provo rivers thread through the canyons of the Wasatch Front, while Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and Green River offers some of the Mountain West's best fly-fishing.
